After hitting a high at the North American Box Office, Shah Rukh Khan's 'My Name Is Khan' (MNIK) targeted the UK Box Office, by making 936,000 pounds in just four days. This is the biggest-ever opening for any Bollywood film in the UK.
'My Name Is Khan' was released on 129 screens at 91 sites across the UK. The movie surpassed the previous record , set by 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' with 749,000 pounds.
'My Name Is Khan' is being promoted by 20th Century Fox in overseas market. MNIK is the first Bollywood movie to be marketed and distributed by a major Hollywood studio like 20th Century Fox.
